About the Center

The Center for Sustainability (C4S) at Aquinas College promotes principles and practices that restore our environment, foster economic prosperity, and build vibrant and healthy communities. Established in 2005 as a community resource, C4S has been building networks and partnerships between local businesses, students and faculty to support learning for sustainability. The Center is located at Aquinas College, the first institution in the United States to offer undergraduate degrees in sustainable business. In addition to providing a web-based clearinghouse of sustainability information, the Center for Sustainability also conducts conferences and workshops, and organizes the Campus Sustainability Initiative to advance the triple bottom line performance of Aquinas College.

Mission/Vision of the Center

The Center for Sustainability at Aquinas College is dedicated to the development and advancement of organizations and communities that promote economic viability, natural world kinship, and social responsibility.
